Late Season Snapper!

Great customer Jarrod May has had a cracker of a season and still proving that the fish are around!

This knobby red was caught out of Carrum in 16 meters of water on a whole IQF pilchard with a mid-day tide change.

Regular customer Heath O'Sullivan caught this cracking snapper a couple of weeks back out of Aspendale in 13 meter of water.

Heath was fishing first-light period along with the high tide when this pilly-munching bruiser, buckled his rod.

Awesome customer Deano and future pro-angler, Joel had a bag-out session off Mt Eliza a couple of weeks ago. Dean fished for the first-light period and got his bag in no time!

The boys did really well using small silver whiting and fresh squid heads.

Also showing some very good consistency, young-gun Zac and his Pop, Dale have had a cracker of a session up the top end of Westernport bay.

The boys fished in the 10m mark around Joe's Island on the incoming tide and had a lot of success with freshly caught squid along with the humble pilchard.

Regular customer Darryn Aarts and his lovely wife Mandi caught some beautiful snapper out off Silverleaves in 15meters of water.

Darryn also managed a few nice whiting in the same spot when the tide started to slow down, using a squid strip and pipi combination.

Dale McClelland from VSF Charters caught a couple of nice fish on a private charter out off Carrum in 20m of water.

Dale reports that he sounded up plenty of fish but they didn't want to feed.

Local waters!

Staff member Kozi and great customers, Simmo and Tricky Micky have been catching a few sizable estuary perch down at the Devil bend Reservoir.

The boys have been doing well on various lures from soft plastics to bent minnows and Tiemco cicadas.

Natives!

A recent trip to the Murray proved to be a difficult one for Cody and Daniel as they found that the water was still very high up and dirty from the recent floods.

The boys still managed a couple of smaller fish as a consolation prize using bright-coloured spinnerbaits and deep diving lures.

Staff member Kozi and great customers, Simmo and Yuta once again got out in the Seymour area where they caught some nice Yellowbelly and silver perch.

The boys report that the yellas were very aggressive, eating almost every lure they threw at them.

(All the fish were released to fight another day!)

Great customer John Nicolaou caught some nice bass and bream from a recent trip to far east Gippsland.

John was working the over-hanging willow branches using soft plastics and bent minnows.

Despite the warmer conditions, the trout fishing in the rivers have been very productive.

Good customer Cody and Adam had a great session on the Rubicon river with plenty of action and sightings of fish stalking their lures.

The boys report that the water clarity wasn't the best, but the gold shallow-running hard bodies caught the majority of the fish.
